The hosts were incredibly attentive and caring, going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. They provided us with a thoughtful welcome package, including wine and fresh-baked bread, which instantly lifted our mood after a long day of travel. the location was beautiful, with stunning views of the countryside, and it was so peaceful and quiet. It was also a bonus that we had the entire house to ourselves, allowing us to enjoy our privacy without any disturbances.

One aspect that we found slightly challenging was the spiral staircase. the heavy book of guest rules felt overwhelming and could have been presented in a more user-friendly way.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our city trip. It was tucked away off a major road, providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We loved the stunning views of both the countryside and the city from the living room and bedroom windows. It was a great way to start and end our days.

The only downside we experienced was the bathroom location. It was a bit inconvenient to have to go up the spiral stairs, past the bedrooms, and then down another set of stairs to reach the bathroom.

The apartment is beautifully furnished with incredibly comfy beds. It's conveniently located on the main route into the city and just a short bus ride away from the city center. There is ample parking space available for two cars. the spiral staircase adds a charming touch to the apartment.

    Felt totally relaxed, no complaint.

The owner went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay and even offered to drive us into the city. The view from the living room and bedroom windows was stunning and we enjoyed the peaceful countryside location. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. The overall decor of the place was beautiful and we loved the high quality furniture and chinaware.

The spiral staircase was a bit hard underfoot, so I would recommend bringing indoor slippers. The bathroom being located down another flight of stairs was a surprise, but we managed fine.

The location of the hotel is perfect, offering beautiful countryside and city views from the windows of the living room and bedrooms. the beds are incredibly comfortable and the linen is of high quality, ensuring a good night's sleep.

Some areas of the hotel could use some maintenance, as there were cobwebs, wood lice, and dead spiders present.

the annexe exceeded our expectations with its stunning location, modern yet grand ambiance, and welcoming host. Nigel even lit the log burner for us on a cold, wet night, making for a cozy return. We had a relaxing and fun weekend, and are already considering returning for another girly getaway next year.

Fantastic location with stunning views, clean and spacious property with all necessary amenities. Short drive to city center and walking distance to a pub. Accommodating owner facilitated early check-in. Spiral staircase enjoyed by children. Beautifully furnished house with great atmosphere, big TV, woodfire, and excellent kitchen. Quiet neighborhood near the river with picturesque views. Accommodating and easy-to-reach owner. Home away from home with unique, well-equipped cottage in a great location. Helpful owner/manager and informative guide provided. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen, though we didn't use it much. Suitable for families. Would definitely stay again.

Victorian Annexe - Bath Villa was a fantastic home away from home. The cottage was beautifully presented and quirky, with stunning views of the countryside and city. The owner/manager was very informative and helpful, making us feel like we had everything we needed. The cottage was spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt. We had a wonderful family stay and would definitely return.
