They provided us with a thoughtful welcome package, including wine and fresh-baked bread, which instantly lifted our mood after a long day of travel. the location was beautiful, with stunning views of the countryside, and it was so peaceful and quiet. It was also a bonus that we had the entire house to ourselves, allowing us to enjoy our privacy without any disturbances.

One aspect that we found slightly challenging was the spiral staircase. the heavy book of guest rules felt overwhelming and could have been presented in a more user-friendly way.

The apartment is beautifully furnished with incredibly comfy beds. It's conveniently located on the main route into the city and just a short bus ride away from the city center. There is ample parking space available for two cars. the spiral staircase adds a charming touch to the apartment.

The owner went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay and even offered to drive us into the city. The view from the living room and bedroom windows was stunning and we enjoyed the peaceful countryside location. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. The overall decor of the place was beautiful and we loved the high quality furniture and chinaware.

The spiral staircase was a bit hard underfoot, so I would recommend bringing indoor slippers. The bathroom being located down another flight of stairs was a surprise, but we managed fine.

the annexe exceeded our expectations with its stunning location, modern yet grand ambiance, and welcoming host. Nigel even lit the log burner for us on a cold, wet night, making for a cozy return. We had a relaxing and fun weekend, and are already considering returning for another girly getaway next year.

The owner/manager was very informative and helpful, making us feel like we had everything we needed. The cottage was spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt. We had a wonderful family stay and would definitely return.
